  48. The Macintosh Display Cards come in two versions, the Display Card 4‚Ä¢8 and the Display Card 8‚Ä¢24.  These are NuBus-based cards for all modular Macintosh computers.

  50. The 4‚Ä¢8-bit card supports 4-bit and 8-bit graphics.  This means up to 256 colors and grayscales can be displayed on the AppleColor High Resolution RGB monitor, and up to 16 grays on the Apple Portrait and Two-Page Monochrome monitors.
